Cuba regime starts the electronic visa to enter the country

HAVANA.- Since July 1, 2025, all foreign travelers wishing to enter Cuba must process An electronic visa, according to the dictatorship of Miguel Díaz-Canel through the Ministry of Tourism.

“From July 1, you can only enter the country with an electronic visa. Consult our website to obtain all the information and ensure your visa quickly and easily,” the regime explained in its Facebook account.

The measure is applied to foreigners and must be processed in advance to the flight through the Evisacuba.CU web portal, where the steps to manage the visa are detailed. The procedure is applied to all foreigners, except for Canadian nationality tourists who are exempt from paying for the visa, since the cost is included in their air ticket.

The dictatorship insists that it is one as it intends to “digitize and centralize” the entrance process, but the truth is that the island is submerged in a deep crisis that directly affects tourism, this being visible and notorious for countries that have recommended not traveling to Cuba.
