FC Barcelona made a resounding comeback this Tuesday in Istanbul, where they beat Galatasaray 4-1 on the second day of the league phase of the Champions League, driven by a new display from Lamine Yamal.
Despite the Barça’s good start, the Turkish team struck first with a goal from Russian Alexey Batrakov in the 28th minute. However, João Cancelo restored equality on the scoreboard just before the break (43′).
In the second half, the magic of Lamine Yamal appeared, who distributed two consecutive assists for Fermín López (50′) and Anthony Gordon (53′), two goals that allowed Barcelona to take definitive control of the match. Karim Adeyemi sealed the win in the 65th minute.
With this result, the Barça team extended its spectacular start to the season, with ten wins in ten games, and reinforced its confidence ahead of its next commitments, including visits to Real Betis in LaLiga and PSG in the Champions League, before hosting Real Madrid in the Clásico.
For its part, Galatasaray suffered its second consecutive defeat in European competition and was compromised in qualifying for the league phase.
