Barcelona adds reinforcement to the next season

BARCELONA.- Barcelona announced Monday that it reached an agreement with FC Copenhagen to transfer the Swedish striker Ronyy Bardghji, 19, who signed for the next four seasons.

Born in Kuwait, but from Swedish nationality, Bardghji made this Monday available to Hansi Flick, at the beginning of the preseason of the Blaugrana team. On Sunday, the players passed the usual medical review.

“With only 19 years, this right extreme stands out for its skill, speed and scoring capacity, qualities that make it a future commitment,” said the culé entity in a statement.

“Despite being one of the most sought -after young soccer players in Europe, his ascent suffered an important brake last year due to a serious injury that separated him from the pitch for almost a year,” the club explained.

“Despite this setback, and already recovered, on his return he has demonstrated his quality,” the note continued.

Bardghji arrived at FC Copenhagen in the Boreal summer of 2020, after starting in the Malmö quarry. In 2022, he amounted to the first Danish team, with which he has played 84 games and scored 15 goals.

This is the second signing of Barça for the next campaign after the armor Joan Garcia, from Espanyol.

The Sub-21 International with Sweden will make the Asia tour with the club and, surely, have minutes, before Flick decides if you are prepared to be part of the first template for the next year.

Espanyol changes owner

The HiStar group, the top shareholder of Espanyol in the hands of President Chen Yansheng, announced Monday that he has agreed to integrate into the Holding Velocity Sport Limited (VSL), which now becomes the new owner of the Catalan entity.

Rasting reached “an agreement with the Velocity Sport Limited (VSL) group of English matrix, but also participated by US shareholders, to integrate as a shareholder of this ‘holding’,” said Espanyol in a statement.

With this “strategic alliance”, the Perico Club will be “at the same level” as the Burnley FC, the only club of this group so far in ownership of businessman Alan Pace.

The Spanish club said that both Espanyol and Burnley “will act autonomously,” although they will be nourished by the same economic source, and added that this agreement will allow the Barcelona team “to strengthen both the economic and sports structure.”

On the other hand, Rastar will not detach from Espanyol, but their actions become part of the new investment group that will participate in the two clubs.
