MIAMI.- After the death of her eldest son, Mauro Menéndez, actress and presenter Aylín Mujica broke the silence and took to social networks to express her pain.
The news was released on Friday, July 17. A day later Mujica stated:
“Today my heart is devastated by the departure of my son Mauro, a being full of light, love, joy and immense kindness, who left an indelible mark on all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence leaves a void impossible to describe, and learning to live with this pain will be the greatest challenge of my entire life, fly high my love, we are going to miss you very much, but I trust that God has you in a wonderful place. I only ask that you send me strength to be able to endure so much pain. Thank you to all the friends and colleagues who have sent me words of encouragement. I love you with my life, my dear Mau.”
The young 31-year-old DJ and music producer, known artistically as MAAHEZ, died suddenly on the Caribbean island of Barbado, where he would have traveled to participate in a baseball game. It turned out that Mujica’s first-born son had pneumonia and had suffered a heart attack, the specialized press reported.
Mauro was the result of the actress’s first marriage, with the Cuban musician Osamu Menéndez.
The actress, who was recording the reality VIP Top Chef in Colombia, he abandoned the culinary competition after receiving the devastating news.
