Atlético de Madrid will be the club with the greatest representation in the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain, contributing nine players to the decisive match that will be played this Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
The team led by Diego Pablo Simeone will have five representatives in the Argentine national team: Juan Musso, Nahuel Molina, Giuliano Simeone, Thiago Almada and Julián Álvarez. Initially Nico González also appeared, but on June 30 his loan ended and he returned to Juventus, so he stopped belonging to the red and white club during the tournament.
