His departure comes just after colliding with the Argentine Franco Colapinto in Qatar, which caused both drivers to withdraw from the Grand Prix.
It is not that this crash forced his separation from the team, but rather that the driver was no longer interested in continuing.
It is a decision that comes from Flavio Briatore’s head. The French driver, aware that next year he will not race in Alpine, asked his team to be able to run the postseason tests, which are very important to begin to have the first sensations with the haashis new team for 2025.
