“Our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unconscious after suffering an apparent heart attack while sleeping,” the UFC stated on its social networks.
“Despite the efforts of the displaced medical team, his death was confirmed at the scene,” he described.
The Brazilian fighter had fought his last fight on June 20 in vegasa defeat against the American Mitch Raposo.
Since the beginning of his career he had accumulated 22 victories, 16 by submission, and seven losses.
“A true pillar at the gates of the Top 15, Nascimento was always next to his teammates during their entrances to the ring, maintaining especially close ties with the former lightweight champion and current defender of the BMF title, Charles Oliveira“said the UFC.
