SAO PAULO.- The Brazilian star Neymar This Monday he avoided commenting on a possible retirement at the end of his contract with the Saintsbut his father and representative, Neymar da Silva Santoscategorically stated that the 34-year-old attacker “is going to continue playing football.”
Neymar retired from the Brazilian team after playing the North America World Cupbut he has a signed bond with the club of his loves until December.
“When my contract ends, I’m going to think if I’m still at Santos, if I leave, if I stop playing. I really don’t know what I’m going to do,” said Neymar when asked about his future, at a charity auction organized by himself, in Sao Paulo.
“We are going little by little, we are going game by game. I am feeling good physically,” said the former player of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germainpunished by a string of injuries in recent years.
His father and representative, Neymar da Silva Santos, was also questioned about it.
“Neymar loves playing football. What else is he going to do? He still doesn’t have a medical degree, so he’s going to continue playing,” the businessman responded.
Santos is classified for the round of 16 of the South American Cup and fights to stay in the first division of Brazilian football.

Sao Paulo footballer prosecuted
The Brazilian justice system prosecuted the footballer Sao Paulo, Nicolas Bosshardt19, for running over an elderly man who died in the incident, the authorities and the club reported this Tuesday.
Bosshardt was arrested Monday night in flagrante delicto after running over an 84-year-old man outside a shopping center in the neighborhood of Alphaville, Barueriin the vicinity of Sao Paulo.
The player was later released on parole, according to the club and its lawyers.
“He is accused of participating in a motor vehicle race on public roads and was brought to justice,” reported the Sao Paulo Public Security Secretariat in a statement sent to AFP.
