Marlins launch campaign to help Venezuela during series against Seattle

The Miami Marlins announced a solidarity initiative to raise aid for Venezuela during the series they will play against the Seattle Mariners, from July 7 to 9 at loanDepot park.

The organization reported that it has already made an initial donation of $100,000 and invited fans to join the campaign with the aim of expanding the impact of humanitarian aid.

As part of the initiative, attendees will be able to deliver non-perishable food, household products, personal hygiene items and pet supplies at the collection points installed at the stadium entrances during the three games.

Additionally, the Marlins will offer special tickets for five dollars as a thank you to those who make a donation. For each of those tickets sold, the franchise will contribute an additional five dollars, thus increasing the amount allocated to the cause.

The campaign seeks to mobilize the large Venezuelan community in South Florida, one of the largest in the United States, to support families experiencing difficulties by delivering essential products.

Those interested in knowing the complete list of required items or purchasing solidarity tickets can consult the information available on the official page of the campaign organized by the Marlins.
