Bayern Munich sent a strong message to Real Madrid and Florentino Pérez regarding the future of Michael Olise. The president of the Bavarian club, Herbert Hainer, made it clear that the German entity has no intention of negotiating the departure of the French winger, despite the rumors that link him with the white team.
“If Florentino Pérez wants to make us an offer, let him save it,” Hainer declared to the German newspaper Bild, in response to speculation about a possible proposal of 150 million euros for the footballer.
The statements come after Florentino Pérez announced during his campaign for re-election as president of Real Madrid that he is preparing a million-dollar offer for a superstar belonging to a club participating in the Champions League. Although the Madrid manager did not reveal the name of the player, various Spanish media quickly pointed to Michael Olise as the main target.
However, from Munich the response has been blunt.
“Michael Olise is a Bayern player, he has a long-term contract and we are not a selling club,” Hainer insisted, ruling out any negotiations for the French international.
Olise arrived at Bayern in mid-2024 and has a current contract until June 2029. In addition, the agreement does not include any termination clause that would facilitate an eventual departure.
The 24-year-old attacker has become one of the great figures of European football. After an outstanding 2024-2025 campaign, he consolidated himself during the 2025-2026 season, in which he recorded impressive figures of 22 goals and 31 assists in all competitions.
His performance was key for Bayern to win the national treble, lifting the Bundesliga, the German Cup and the Franz Beckenbauer Super Cup.
Bayern’s position represents a significant obstacle to the plans of Florentino Pérez, who seeks to reinforce a squad that is going through two consecutive seasons without important titles. Although Real Madrid has the financial power necessary to undertake a large-scale operation, in Germany they consider Olise a strategic piece for the present and future of the sports project.
For now, Bayern are not considering opening negotiations and are sending a clear message: Michael Olise is not for sale. The question will be whether Real Madrid insists with a historic offer or decides to direct its investment towards another of the big names in the European market.
