US Government confirms that it provided support in an operation against drug trafficking in Mexico

WASHINGTON.– The government of USA confirmed that it provided intelligence support to Mexico in the military operation against drug trafficking in which the head of the Jalisco New Generation CartelRubén Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho”, in Jalisco, and a severe blow was dealt to one of the most violent criminal organizations in the country.

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt assured that “El Mencho” was a priority objective for the governments of Mexico and the United States, according to her message in X.

“He was one of the main traffickers of fentanyl to our country,” he said.
