Miami – The writer Julio Túpac Cabello will present his most recent publication, We, the centaursnext Saturday, September 13 at 4 PM in Macondo Coffee Roasters of Kendall. The presentation will be attended by the renowned writer Leonardo Padrón as presenter.

“My new publication collects the stories, in the first person, from a series of characters that have a particular way of deciphering life. The similarities are no accident,” Cabello said about his work.

We, the centaurs It proposes a tour of the minds of characters whose logic, sometimes disconcerting, reflects the complexity of the human condition. From a vigilante and a commissioner, to a murderer, a DJ, a woman whose heart beats slower and a barman who travels in time, each story allows to look out to unexpected realities, where the playful and tragic coexist in a unique perception of the world.

“We are all more particular and less normal than we believe,” says Cabello, whose work invites you to reflect on the irregularities that each person tries to contain. In this sense, centaurs are not so much fantastic creatures, but mirrors of our own anomalies, amplified by the fiction narrative.

The publication combines creative writing and fantastic literature, exploring psychological enigmas, drama, horror, denunciation and humor, with a style that challenges the conventions of the traditional story.
