According to Katar, the attacks were directed against members of the Hamas Politburos in Doha. According to the radical Islamic Palestinian organization, six people were killed, including an employee and a son of the head of their negotiation team in Doha, Chalil al-Hajja.
According to the Hamas, Hamas negotiator Al-Hajja and the former political office boss Chaled Meschal were located in the attacked building. Since then, the AFP news agency has not been able to reach either. Israel’s UN ambassador Danon said that the Israeli government has not yet had any “results” of the mission.

China also said on Wednesday that “the violation of the territorial sovereignty and national security of Qatar decided by Israel”. Russia condemned the Israeli attacks as “serious violation of international law”.
However, Israel’s Minister of Defense Katz said that Israel would continue to act “everywhere” against his enemies. “There is no place where you can hide,” he wrote in the online service X. “Anyone” who took part in the Hamas robbery in Israel is “held accountable”.
The Hamas and their allies had triggered the Gaza War on October 7, 2023 with their attack on Israel.
